The Bishop Union High School Lady Broncos softball team took the sting out of the Desert Scorpions Tuesday, winning the game 20-0 in five innings.
Senior Geneva Molina pitched all five innings, striking out eight, walking one, hitting one batter and giving up one hit.
Desert pitchers walked 18 batters and hit 1 batter.
The win comes after a disappointing first-league loss of season to Boron, final score, 5-0. During that game, Bishop played great defense but Boron has a strong hitting team.
