The Inyo County Board of Supervisors at its regular meeting today is scheduled to hear a presentation from county staff regarding housing and development-related activities within county, according to today’s meeting agenda.
County staff notes that while Inyo County is a wonderful place to live and do business, like the rest of California, Inyo County suffers from a lack of housing options relative to growing demand.
“The lack of housing makes renting and homeownership expensive, makes it difficult to recruit and retain employees, and generally depresses economic development,” according to county staff.
The presentation is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. today during the board meeting. The Inyo County Board of Supervisors meets in regular session at 10 a.m. today. The meeting will be held in the Board Chambers at the County Administrative Center in Independence, 224 N. Edwards St., and can be viewed via Zoom.
