June Lake Public Utility District Full Time Operational Worker ($22 per hr to start - Minimum 40hrs per week plus benefits) Rare opportunity. You will learn all about the science and procedures in providing water and sewer service(s) to the District . This is an outstanding rare opportunity. The position is full time, year round. Great opportunities for advancement. This is a career opportunity with excellent benefits. We will assist in advanced certification and train to further your career. Abilities: Must be in good physical condition and have the ability to learn assigned task(s). Routinely required to lift materials weighing 20-70 lbs. On occasion use a shovel, and or operate a backhoe (training is available). License: Must have a current and valid California Drivers License. Schedule: 40 hours per week. Varied days of the week are possible. Overtime and standby may be expected. Duties: Under supervision the worker will learn to perform day to day operations and maintenance tasks necessary for the reliable and efficient operation of the district's water delivery and wastewater disposal system.
