BISHOP UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT Notice of Classified Vacancy 2022/2023 School Year Intemal/Extemal Posting POSITION: Maintenance-General Position HOURS: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (one-hour unpaid lunch break) Tuesday through Saturday, 261-Day Contract. STARTING DATE: As soon as possible after the completion of hiring requirements. SALARY RANGE: Range- M, $19.75- $34.49 per hour, depending on current salary placement in the same or similar position if already employed by the District. Maximum entry if not currently employed by the District is $23.16. DUTIES: Under the direct supervision of the MOT Director or Chief Business Officer. Maintain facilities, including required semi-skilled and skilled work in general trades in the maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment. QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of tools, materials, methods, and terminology used in building and grounds maintenance work. Also, knowledge of methods and practices followed in the maintenance of tools, machinery, and equipment. Specific skills and physical requirements are outlined in the job description. A pre-employment physical may be required.
