BISHOP UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT Notice of Classified Vacancy 2022/2023 School Year Internal/External Posting POSITION: Day Custodian LOCATION: Bishop Union High School HOURS: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch break) Monday through Friday, 261-Day Contract STARTING DATE: As soon as possible after the completion of hiring requirements. SALARY RANGE: Range- I, $16.99- $29.66 per hour Depending on current salary placement in the same or similar position if already employed by the District. Maximum entry level if non-employee is: $19.92. DUTIES: Under the direct supervision of the Lead Custodian, MOT Director, and Chief Business Officer. Maintain clean facilities, office, restrooms, cafeteria, and/ or classrooms, as requested. QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of materials, disinfectants, chemicals, equipment, and methods used in custodial work. Specific skills and physical requirements are outlined in the job description. A pre-employment physical will be required.
