Helen Merydith Macklin
Helen Merydith Macklin, 85, born Aug. 16, 1927 in Pasadena, passed away July 14, 2013 at the Bishop Care Center.
Bob and Merydith moved from Duarte in the summer of 1968 to Bishop where they lived until 1988 and then moved to Gardnerville, Nev., and then back to Bishop in May of 2011 to be closer to family.
Helen is survived by her husband of nearly 65 years, George (Bob) Macklin; daughter and son-in-law, Patti and Dale Watterson of Bishop; son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Allene Macklin of Lake Havasu, Ariz.; granddaughters, Renee Parra and husband Marin Parra of Lancaster and Monica Watterson of Bishop; and great-grandchildren, Dante and Falon Parra of Lancaster and Saige and Savannah Connolly of Bishop.
A Graveside Service will be held at 10 a.m. July 19 at the West Line Street Cemetery in Bishop. Father John Gracey of Our Lady of Perpetual Help will officiate. There will be a reception following the service at Monica Watterson’s home.
