Bishop Union High School juniors and seniors are going to get the red carpet treatment next weekend as they arrive to prom dressed to the nines.
Parents, teachers and school administrators are invited to take a half hour before prom this Saturday to serve as the “paparazzi” and provide the memories of camera flashes to go with the glitz and glamor of the night.
Those who arrive will have an opportunity to take red carpet pictures of students and even ask a couple “Hollywood Premier” style questions like “What are you going to do now?” before the students hit the dance floor.
Parents who take photos at the prom are invited to submit their best to BUHS for a photo contest. The top 10 red carpet paparazzi pics will be sent to The Inyo Register to be published in the Saturday, May 18 edition of the local newspaper.
