Tyler Graig ‘Ty’ Brown
Born Jan. 31, 1982 in Bishop to Janet Bryan-Weed and lifelong Bishop resident Craig Brown, “Ty,” 30, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013 in Elko, Nev. Ty spent most of his life living throughout Bishop, Fallon, Nev., Sacramento and eventually in Wyoming.
Ty was an advernturous person, generous, giving, helpful and always had a big heart. He was a loving, dedicated and persistent father to Treavor Brown. He has touched many lives in his young life and will truly be missed by many. The Creator and his Hootsi have called him by their side. He will no longer feel pain or be alone. People always knew when Ty was around, because of his boisterous laugh and his big smile. He was always willing to have fun and never a dull moment with him. If you were lucky enough to get in trouble with him, that is a memory to cherish.
He is survived by his son, Treavor Cougar Brown; his only brother, Sean McGee Brown; his sisters, Tori Turner and Cassie Weed; his father, Craig Brown and wife Gina Bartlett; his mother, Janet Bryan-Weed and stepfather, Star Weed; his grandmother, Darlene Dewey; his great-aunt, Mary McCloud and family; his aunts, Nancy Brown, Carol Stone, Sharon Pickle, Melanie Smokey and Ivy Wright-Bryan; his uncles, Earl Frank, Jr., Pat Nelson, Charles Brown, Ivan Brown, Walter D. Maine, Harlan Dewey, Jr., Greg Bryan, Arthur Bryan, Geoffery Bryan, Moses Redner and Joseph Redner; cousins, Lynn Brown, Shelly Brown, Pam Frank, Stephanie Nelson, Christina Brown, Arlene Brown, Alexya Brown, Lisa Stone, Gregory Iron, Victor Brown, Kevin Brown, Brian Brown, Preston Brown, Christopher Brown, Louis Brown, Earl Frank, III, Jerry Nelson, Glenn Nelson, Jr. and Garrett Bryan; nephews, Andrew, Aaron, Anthony and Alexander Brown and Levi Jorgenson; nieces, Jaelyn Brown, Arianah RattlingLeaf and Dori Jorgenson; as well as other, numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
Ty is preceded in death by his beloved Hootsi, Ruth Brown; his grandfather, Harry Brown; his great-grandmother, Helen McGee; his great-aunts, Margie Jones and Norma Nelson; and his uncle, Dwight Brown.
Memorial services were held Sunday in Fallon, Nev. with a traditional Cry Dance in Bishop Sunday evening. Prayer services were also held Monday at the Barlow Lane Gym in Bishop.
Interment was at the Sunland Cemetery in Bishop.
