Don Redmon

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for former Bishop resident Donald Everett Redmon of Mountain Home, Ark.
Born Sept. 25, 1922 in Santa Rosa, Donald died Oct. 13, 2010. He was 88.
Don and his wife Jaylyle relocated from Bishop to Mountain Home in 2003.
Don was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Coast Guard. He came to Bishop and worked for the telephone company. He began a career at Mammoth Mountain about 1950 and enjoyed working there for many decades. He loved skiing, hiking, biking and fishing with his family and many friends. He loved the Eastern Sierra for its beauty.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, Ira Everett and Gertrude Redmon, and daughter, Linda Harmon.
He is survived by his wife, Jaylyle; daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Jon Eller of Mammoth Lakes; son and daughter-in-law, Don and Teresa Redmon of Aliso Viejo; daughter, Jennifer Paige of Knoxville, Tenn.; daughter and son-in-law, LaJean and Robert Salonites of Cameron Park; grandchildren, Lindsay and Lauren Eller, Rob, Christopher, Donald and Sarah Redmon, Braden, Stephannie and Courtney Harmon, Cody Paige, and Conrad, Nicholas and John David; and great-grandchildren, Jager, Zander and Breniklee.
