Dale Carroll Dietzman

A private family service will be held at a later date for 65-year Bishop resident Dale Carroll Dietzman.
Born Jan. 27, 1930 in Los Angeles, Dale died Sept. 25, 2010 at the Bishop Care Center. He was 80.
Dale was raised in Chalfant Valley. He attended Bishop Union High School. He worked as a self-employed plumber for many years and loved restoring old cars.
Dale was also a member of VFW Post No. 8988, BPOE Bishop Lodge No. 1603 and the plumbers’ union.
He was preceded in death by both his wives, Ella Butler Dietzman and Charlene Dietzman; and his brother, Arlo Dietzman.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Dean and Barbara Dietzman of Hawaii; sister-in-law, Gladys Dietzman; stepdaughters, Virginia Brewer and Sue Stoutenburg, both of Bishop, and Judith Lacy of Palm Springs; and stepgrandchildren, Brad Brewer, Sara Veth and Melissa Rosno.
