Mary Ann Braidhill passed away at home, surrounded by her family on April 27, 2014 at the age of 91. She was the daughter of Benjamin Willis Chiles and Pinckney Lafayette Twitty.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, John Marshall Chiles and Benjamin W. Chiles, Jr.; sisters, Sarah Catherine Tucker, Pinckney Louise Masters, Martha Elizabeth LaRuey and Betty Sue Smith; and son, Ronald Ray Grimble.
She is survived by daughter, Linda Willis and her husband, Bud, of Mina, Nev.; nieces, Karol Hystad and Elsie Sanders of Henderson, Nev.; Fran and Ken Marlow of Roopville, Ga., Elizabeth Waugh of Oneonta, Ala. and Carol and Johnny Lyles of Pinson, Ala.; nephews, Billy and Jo Horn of Oneonta, Ala., Steve and Rosalee Smith of Birmingham, Ala., Jerry Tucker of Liberty, Ky., and Tommy and Richard Tucker of Michigan.
A celebration of Mary Ann’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 3 at the First Baptist Church on 8th and C streets in Hawthorne, Nev.
