Donald W. Reeves

Donald W. Reeves, 75, of Keeler, passed away at home on April 1, 2014 of natural causes.
He was born in South Dakota on Jan. 17, 1939 and came to California with his family in his mid-teens. He worked for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, with whom he had several job titles, for over 30 years, retiring in the mid-1990s.
Don enjoyed life to the fullest, with his main hobbies being photography, cars and traveling. He was a friend to all and was always ready with a helping hand.
Don is survived by his sister, June Kramer of Arizona; brother, Daniel Reeves of Missouri; stepson, Mark McCall of Keeler; grandson, Eric McCall, and great-grandson, Quentin McCall, both of Texas. He leaves behind many extended family members and friends.
A celebration of life potluck will be held at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8036 in Lone Pine, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, May 10.
