Robert Joseph Toth
Robert Joseph Toth, 81, resident of Bishop for 51 years, born in Bridgeport, Conn. on Sept. 5, 1932, passed away on March 28, 2014 at his residence in Bishop.
Bob began his 32-year professional career with the Department of Fish and Game in 1960 as an associate fish pathologist and moved to Bishop shortly thereafter. He enjoyed all aspects of the Owens Valley and was an avid fly fisherman, hunter, trapper, bird watcher and golfer. He was an active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
Bob is survived by his sons, Robert Joseph Toth, Jr. of San Francisco and William Marc Toth of Ojai; and sister Barbara L. Toth of Florida. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara.
Rosary will be at 8 p.m. this Friday, April 4 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 5 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Burial will be at East Line Street Cemetery. Father John Gracey will officiate.
