Southern California entrepreneur and rock climbing devotee Matt Myers hit a bump in the road of his plans to open a small hostel in Bishop ,however he resolutely continues undeterred on the path to realizing his dream.
After the city Planning Commission rejected his Conditional Use Permit application for his first-choice site, 130 Short St., Myers is considering several other undisclosed Bishop sites that could be home to â€śa boutique-type hostel. I want to go for a communal atmosphere that caters primarily to rock climbers, hikers, snowboarders, fishermen, European travelers and overall adventurers,â€ť generally ranging in age from 18 to 60.
