Bishop Community Concerts presents pianist Umi Garrett

Inyo County residents have an opportunity to see a world-renowned piano solo prodigy at the next offering of the 2013-14 Community Concert Season.
Umi Garrett will be performing live at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28 at the Bishop Union High School auditorium.
Garrett began playing piano when she was four years old. By age 8, she made an appearance on NBC’s “The Ellen DeGeneres Show. By 9, she rleased her first album and she hasn’t looked back.
Garrett has performed as a soloist worldwide, with shows in the U.S., Japan and Europe, and appeared regularly with symphony orchestras across the United States and around the world.
Most recently at age 13, she was granted a prestigious title of the Young Steinway Artist, an honor only awarded to today’s most acclaimed young artists.
