Marian Sylvia Red Owl, age 74, entered eternal life on the evening of Monday, Dec. 16, 2013 at her home on Tu Su Lane. Marian was born in Big Pine on May 28, 1939 to David and Elizabeth Shaw.
Marian was a homemaker most of her life and lived in Bishop for 72 years of her life. Marian had many skills. At one point in her life she studied to be a dental assistant in Los Angeles. Marian was a giving person, always willing to help anyone in need. She was a great cook and most of all a phenomenal fry bread maker. We loved her Indian tacos. She loved to cook for her family and have frequent family dinners. Marian was a beloved mother, sister, auntie, cousin, grandma and most definitely a good friend to many. She was blessed to be loved by not only her family, but by all of her friends. She will be truly missed.
