Harry G. Reynolds Jr.
Harry G. Reynolds Jr., age 90, a resident of Bishop for many years, born in Sacramento on Nov. 4, 1923 passed away Dec. 7, 2013 at Northern Inyo Hospital.
Harry was a World War II veteran who served in the Marine Corps. He worked for the Vanadium mines before the service, then after the service he worked for Western Gillette for 30 years. After leaving Western Gillette he went to work doing highway construction for a few years before retiring.
Harry was proceeded in death by father, Harry G.; mother, Cora; brothers, William and Wendall and their wives, Zoe and Emily; and nephews Gregory and Brian.
He is survived by his longtime friend, Ralph Palsrok; nephews, Brent of Bishop, Jerry and wife, Patti of Florida and Gordon of San Diego; great-nephews and great-nieces, Jim Reynolds and wife, Missy of Bishop, Becky Riley of Bishop, Sean Reynolds of Roseville, Joshua Reynolds of Sunland and Bethany Dunning of La Crescenta; great-great-nieces and nephew, Maddie, Nicole, Destinee and Melodie Riley of Bishop and Shiloh, Dakota and Elijah Reynolds of Bishop, McKenna, Kayla and Owen Reynolds; and great-great-great-niece, Nyomi Underhill of Bishop.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. tomorrow, Wednesday Dec. 18 at the East Line Street Cemetery in Bishop. Veterans of Foreign War Post 8988 will officiate.
