Mary Theresa Cherubini
Mary Theresa Cherubini was born in Fresno on Oct. 25, 1925 to Isabella and Sabino Muniz. She passed away Dec. 14, 2013 surrounded by her family.
For the majority of her life, Mary lived in Lone Pine. At the time of her passing, she was a resident of Washoe Valley, Nev.
Before moving to Nevada, Mary was a personal assistant to Doris D. Statham in Lone Pine. She also spent time working in a convalescent home in Pennsylvania.
Mary was preceded in death by both her parents; husband, Raymond Cherubini, whom she married on Oct. 28, 1942; two sons, Raymond Cherubini Jr. and Enos Cherubini; and grandson, Brian Lowe.
She is survived by daughter, Margarita Cornwell and husband Mark of Lone Pine; daughter, Anita Vandebrake and husband Mel of Winnemucca, Nev.; grandchildren, Teddy, Bobby and Kathy Cherubini, Michael and Julie Cherubini, Jody Wakamatsu, Robert, Kenny, Lisa and Katie Cornwell; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; several siblings; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary was a wonderful, caring woman with a beautiful heart and soul. She will be greatly missed by everyone that had the opportunity to know her.
Services will be held at 9 a.m Saturday, Dec. 21 at the Santa Rosa Catholic Church in Lone Pine. Graveside services will follow in Big Pine.
