Lone Pine residents are getting in the holiday spirit this year with the annual community Christmas parade, a Chamber of Commerce mixer and an opportunity for young residents to meet Santa Claus.
Lone Pine’s popular, come-as-you-are community Christmas parade is set for 1 p.m. this Saturday on Main Street in Lone Pine.
This year’s parade theme of “Christmas” is simple and to the point.
According to Lone Pine Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Kathleen New, anyone and everyone is invited to participate in this year’s parade and no entry forms or fees are necessary. The Chamber is asking only that those who would like to be in the parade meet at Lone Pine High School at 12:30 p.m.

For more Lone Pine Christmas events, see Tuesday's edition of The Inyo Register.
