The weekend of Nov. 9-10, members of the Eastern Sierra 4x4 Club joined in the festivities at the 28th Annual Panamint Valley Days.
This statewide event is sponsored by the California Association of 4WD Clubs, Inc. and held each year in a remote area of southern Inyo County, approximately 30 miles north of Trona and located in Panamint Valley. Participants come from all over California for this annual event with a variety of four-wheel-drive Jeeps, Toyotas, Broncos, etc.
Approximately 140 four-wheel-drive vehicles registered for this weekend of fun activities. It is a family weekend event so it includes a large collection of motorhomes, trailers and tents. There were 11 guided trail runs that ranged from “easy” to “most difficult,” allowing everybody an opportunity to participate.
