Dolores Ann Warbington
1926-2013

Dolores Ann Warbington, born Oct. 12, 1926 in Gary, Okla. to Eugene Gobel and Agnes Kelly Gobel, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Nov. 24, 2013. She was 87.
Dolly Ann was raised in Nebraska and Missouri and moved in California in 1951, especially for fishing. She retired to Bishop after a long career at Catholic Charities of Orange County. Dee had a great love for the outdoors especially fishing. She always enjoyed gardening, quilt making, sporting events, her devoted cats and spending time with her grandchildren and children at many family gatherings. We will all miss her very much.
She is survived by Heather Rhine of Pt. Arena; Bob Warbington and Karen Cheshire of Bishop, Jody and Terry Whitman of Bishop; Cathy and Charlie Parker of Kaui and Maura Warbington of Bishop; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and another great-grandson on the way; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Rachelle Warbington of Bishop.
The entire family would like to express their gratitude for all the kindness, care and support given to our mother during the last months of her life.
A graveside service will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dee’s memory to the Salvation Army in Bishop, or Catholic Charities of Orange County.
