Leasing begins at Cottonwood Plaza

December 4, 2013

Cottonwood Plaza, which has been closed since 2008, is now advertising for tenants. The plaza’s three buildings, which include a stand-alone restaurant that was once Burger King, have been renovated and the owners hope to have the complex filled and opened by spring 2014. Photo by Mike Gervais

As construction crews continue renovating Cottonwood Plaza, property managers are getting a jump on advertising for potential tenants.
A sign was recently posted at Cottonwood, located at the intersection of Main and Yaney streets, stating that the shopping center should be open by spring 2014.
The advertisement directs potential lessees to the website www.cottonwoodplaza.com, where interested parties will find lease applications, a site study and market study.
Cottonwood Plaza owners are looking to lease a 22,528 square-foot retail center, 19,376 square feet of second floor office or retail space and a branded restaurant building and pad (the site of the old Burger King). The restaurant site will be let out as a land lease.
