A Bridgeport man was arrested Tuesday, Nov. 19, on suspicion of attempted murder after he beat and stabbed a Plymouth, Calif., man repeatedly in the head, arms and face, according to the Mono County Sheriffâ€™s Department.
Travis Christian, 27, is currently in custody at the Mono County Jail, pending charges of attempted murder, deputies said.
Christian worked at the Big Mountain Lodge in Bridgeport at the time of the incident, and the incident is believed to be the result of an altercation between Christian and the victim, John Peabody, 66, deputies said.
