Lois Emma (Lloyd) Pahlow

Lois Emma Lloyd was born Jan. 11, 1933 in Glassport, Penn. to William and May Lloyd. She moved with her parents to Fontana in 1946 and then to Van Nuys in 1947, where she attended Van Nuys High School and met her future husband Robert G. Pahlow. They were married on Nov. 25, 1950 in Las Vegas.
Lois worked for Pacific Telephone in the San Fernando Valley for 19 years and then she and her husband moved to Bishop, where they lived for 18 years. While living in Bishop she worked for Continental Telephone and the City of Bishop.
When it came time to retire, she and her husband moved to Sequim, Wash. Lois loved RV travel, gardening and enjoyed quilting with her son and granddaughter. She spent hours researching and recording Pahlow and Lloyd family history.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 2008; and her beloved son, William in 1972.
Lois is survived by two sons, Robert Jr. (Rob), and his wife Susan of Brier, Wash., and Jeffrey (Jeff) and his wife Janet of Bishop. She is also survived by her brother, William (Bill) and his wife Virginia (Ginni) of Brigham City, Utah. She has seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and two very special friends, Stephanie and Jon Dalberg of Everett, Wash.
There are to be no services at Lois’ request. Her cremation is to be handled by the Neptune Society and her ashes scattered by her surviving family.
