Carol Bronson Schoenmeier
1938-2013

Carol Bronson Schoenmeier went home to be with the Lord on Oct. 20, 2013.
Carol is survived by her husband of 56 years, Henry Schoenmeier, Jr.; her mother, Earline Bronson; three children, Coleen (Mark) MacDowell, Dennis (Jeannie) Schoenmeier and Carla (James) Moore; nine grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
Born March 23, 1938 in Waterloo, Iowa, Carol moved to El Segundo in the sixth grade, graduating from El Segundo High School in 1956. Carol loved the Lord and was always active in church. She was the organist for most of her life, taught Sunday School and was camp counselor for many years. When Henry retired from the City of El Segundo, they retired to Big Pine where they have lived the last 18 years.
Carol was known for her warm smile and loving personality. She loved to read, bake Christmas goodies, do needlework and spend time with her family. She was greatly loved and will be tremendously missed.
A memorial service is planned for 11 a.m. Nov. 9 at the First Baptist Church of Big Pine.
