Fall Colors Car Show rolling into Bishop Friday night

October 2, 2013

Fast cars, fine art, antiques and collectibles – as well as bargains on just about anything else – will be on tap at the Eastern Sierra Tri-County Fairgrounds this weekend.
Beginning Saturday, the Owens Valley Cruisers will be at the fairgrounds with about 200 classic and antique cars for its annual Fall Colors Car Show, alongside the Laws Railroad Museum Choo Choo Swap Meet and Altrusa International of the Eastern Sierra’s annual art show. As an added bonus this year, the High Sierra Chorus of Sweet Adelines International will be hosting an arts and crafts show and sale Saturday afternoon. According to the Sweet Adelines, the show and sale features mostly local artists and handmade arts and crafts.
The Cruisers will kick off their car show weekend Friday evening with the cruise-in and early registration in the Vons/Kmart parking lot.
