Mr. Freeman Frisco Love
1921-2013

Longtime resident and barber of Bishop passed quietly in Idaho, Friday, Aug. 16, 2013 surrounded by his daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mr. Love is survived by his daughter, Deanna Smith; three grandchildren, Jessie (Robin) and husband, Steve Adams, Ivan Smith and wife, Jerrilene and Kevin Smith and wife Jill; seven great-grandchildren, Frisco Adams, Trustin Adams, Samantha Adams, Lauren Smith, Maxton Smith, Ivy Jene Smith and Charilyn; one sister, Ada Jo Tarver; and several nieces and nephews.
Born in Vinson, Okla. in 1921 to Horace Greeley Love and Jessie Robin Keeth – one of eight children – 5 boys, 3 girls.
He was preceded by his childhood sweetheart/wife and lifelong friend, Juanita O. Darnell (Love); his parents; four brothers; and two sisters.
He and his three brothers – Haskel, Clyde and Keeth – returned home from World War II heroes and all became the best barbers this nation has ever seen. Freeman was an avid fisherman, hunter and loved his country, heritage, family and friends. He will be missed by one and all.
Gary Tarver, and VFW Post 8988, Bishop, will be officiating services held at East Line Street Cemetery at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7.
