Robbery and attempted murder in Pearsonville

Wind, rain and floods provided an ominous backdrop for a violent robbery in Pearsonville Sunday night.
According to the Inyo County Sheriff’s Office, Johnny Pulido-Gonzalez, 24, of Los Angeles was arrested Tuesday, July 23 in the Kennedy Meadows area for an alleged car-jacking and attempted murder. He later confessed to to being the suspect Sunday night’s robbery during which he stabbed a convenience store clerk.
Local authorities received a report of an armed robbery and stabbing at the Pearsonville Shell gas station at about 10:20 p.m. Sunday. However, due to flooding on U.S. 395 near Dunmovin, sheriff’s deputies were unable to respond and requested assistance from the Kern County Sheriff’s Office and California Highway Patrol.Wind, rain and floods provided an ominous backdrop for a violent robbery in Pearsonville Sunday night.
