Elizabeth M. Felice
The Felice family extends our deepest appreciation for those who have expressed their sympathy over the recent loss of the family matriarch, Elizabeth M. Felice, recently of Lone Pine and previously from Tujunga. Private services will be held with interment at sea.
Elizabeth Felice was born in the state of Hawaii in 1920 as the daughter of refugees from Spain. She married in Hawaii and had five children before moving to California; Roland M. Felice of Manhattan Beach, California, Clifford R. Felice of Shell Beach, California, Josephine Hoffman of Perris, California, Gordon Felice of Bishop, California and Carolyn C. Noble who is well known in Lone Pine, California and involved in many civic activities.
Elizabeth Felice passed away at the age of 93 on June 22, 2013 and is survived by her sister, Theresa Perreira of Honolulu, Hawaii, Mary Tafolla of San Antonio, Texas, Carmen Boerner of Denver, Colo., Frank Duarte of Honolulu, Hawaii; 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Our mother will be sorely missed by the surviving family.
Mothers are special as they are made with the finest ingredients of life. Mothers give this gift of life to their offspring at birth. They then nurture each child with love that only a mother can bring. Later in life, mothers happily grow old by giving that same special love to their grandchildren. Sadly, the time arrives when mothers must leave us behind. The finest ingredients of life that mothers were made of are also left behind ⦠alive in their children and grandchildren. Mothers will be loved forever and remembered eternally.
Mom ⦠may your last journey be as blessed as we are to have you as our mother.
