Mike E. Keller
Mike E. Keller was born Feb. 13, 1948 in Los Angeles to Mike Paul Keller and Eve Galloway. He passed away March 20, 2013 at his home in Big Pine.
Mike lived in Los Angeles until the middle of grammar school when they moved to Bishop. He graduated from Bishop Union High School in June of 1966. He then went to West Coast Trade School and studied Auto Mechanics 1966-1967.
Mike was in the Air Force from February of 1968 through February of 1972, where he was trained in electronics and was stationed in Sunnyvale. He then worked for Continental Telephone Co. where he retired.
Mike was an avid fisherman and hunter and really enjoyed the outdoors. Mike was always at the Bishop City Park watching softball games as well as all of the other Bishop Bronco sports.
Mike is survived by his sisters, Darlene Hillard, Lisa Keller and Charlene Keller; and his brother, Charles Keller. He is also survived by his great-aunt, Melba Keller, and many cousins, and extended family and friends.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, Mike Paul Keller; his Mother, Eve Galloway; and numerous other family members.
Mikeâ€™s celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 29 at the Barlow Lane Gym with a potluck lunch to follow.
