La Rae Lyman
La Rae Lyman passed away peacefully on Feb. 17, 2013 at home surrounded by her family. La Rae was born in Utah and lived in Idaho until she settled in Bishop in 1957. She lived, worked and played here, fully experiencing life. She enjoyed her family, many friends and coworkers from her various jobs at The Copper Kettle, Southern California Edison and Dr. William Talbott, D.D.S.
La Rae was an incredible lady with a ready sense of humor and a playful spirit. She had such a gift making us all laugh and smile. La Rae loved music and dancing (letâs âboogy woogyâ). She loved working out in her yard, going for walks and hikes. A person couldnât be around La Rae without leaving her feeling just a little bit better. La Rae will be greatly missed by her family and friends. We are deeply saddened by her passing, yet we are comforted to know that she is at peace and free. We all smile as we can hear âYahoo!â yodeling to us.
La Rae is survived by Floyd Lyman, her loving and devoted husband of 44 years; children, Craig Woolsworth and Wendy Beress and son-in-law, Rick Beress; and grandchildren, Michelle Beress, Jennifer Beress Jackson, Rachel Beress, Debra Beress and David Beress; and brother, Bill Wood of Salt Lake City, Utah.
A celebration of La Raeâs life will take place at a future date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in La Raeâs memory to a charity of oneâs choice.
