David H. Brodsky
1963-2013

David was born May 18, 1963 in Los Angeles and passed away Feb. 14, 2013 at home with his family, as was his wish.
David was preceded in death by his father, Martin H. Brodsky.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Carolyn, the love of his life and his soul mate; his daughter, Dorothy; his son, Joseph; his mother, Alice; and his stepdad, Leonard Bellas; his sister, Bonnie Holowachuk and her fiance, Tim Smith; and his brother, Arnold Brodsky, all of Lone Pione; there are two nephews, Rob and Dustin Holowachuk; one great-nephew, Tyler Holowachuk, all of Niagra Falls, Canada; and a very large family of uncles, aunts and cousins of Los Angeles. Also included is his very best friend from childhood, Rudy Ramirez of La Puente.
David had a great pride and love for all of his family and all the friends that crossed his path in life. David last worked in Lone Pine as a clerk at Lee’s Frontier where many times he would call his wife with some excuse of needing change or dinner just to have her near. That’s just the way he loved her.
He had a great boss, Lee, and coworkers that were more like family to him.
David was a very fun-loving person with a great sense of humor. He was very much a people person and totally enjoyed the multitude of customers he served, helped or just chatted with on a hot summer’s day or a cold winter’s night.
David will be greatly missed by his family and friends and all who were fortunate to have had the great honor to cross his path.
A memorial service will be held Feb. 23 at the Lone Pine Assembly of God Church followed by a graveside service at Mt. Whitney Cemetery.
There will be a luncheon back at the church where we can share fond memories of David.
