Greg Allen Brown
Born May 10, 1953 in Glendale, longtime Owens Valley resident Gregory Allen Brown died at home with family on Jan. 28, 2013. He was 59.
Greg moved to the Owens Valley with his family in 1954 and continued to reside in Bishop for 58 years.
He worked as a roofer and as a contractor for 30 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and artist who blended his Indian heritage into his artwork. He enjoyed a close relationship with his children and was a proud grandfather.
Greg is survived by his daughter, Jamie Moore; son-in-law, Bobby Moore; grandsons, Anthony Martinez, and little Bobby Moore; sons, Justin Brown-Harris and Charley Brown; mother, Shirley K. French; uncle, Bill Brown, and aunt, Connie; sister, Georgia Gardner; brother, Wesley French and sister-in-law, Vickie French; brother, Tony French and sister-in-law, Lora French, and niece, Kylee French; and sister, Helen French, brother-in-law, Tony Hernandez, and nieces, Sunni Card and Erin Marsh.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9 at The River Church in Bishop. Pastor Ron Sargeant will officiate. All friends and loved ones are welcome to attend.
