1956-2013

Mary Ann “Sunshine” Billingsley-Moore passed Jan. 14, 2013 at the age of 56 at the Hospice of Kitsap from Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). She loved all who came to visit her in her last days and hours.
Mary Ann was born on July 3, 1956 to Colonel (Cricket) and Martha Billingsley of Chico. The family later moved to Chalfant.
Mary Ann loved the outdoors and always looked forward to her next adventure, wherever it took her. She was active in raising money for those in need, especially the motorcycle community. She was a member of North Kitsap ABATE and Auxiliary in the American Legion Post 149.
She was a carpenter by trade, and owned the first all-women roofing company in Washington state.
Mary Ann and her husband, Gary Moore, celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary Jan. 3, 2013.
She is survived by her three sons, Gabrial Noonan, Jarib Sourman and Joshua Stedman; husband, Gary Moore; siblings, Charles Billingsley and family of Utah, Raymond James Billingsley and family of Colorado and Kathleen Brennan and family of California; and other relatives, including Gene and Jackie Billingsley of Bishop, their two daughters, Genie Chiatovich and family and Debra VanDeWeerd and family. She loved her family very much.
Services were held Jan. 28, 2013 with an escort from Lewis Funeral Home, 5303 Kitsap Way Bremerton, WA 98312 leaving at 11:15 a.m. to Tahoma National Cemetery, 18600 Southeast 240th Street Kent, WA 98042, where she was laid to rest at 1:15 p.m.
A celebration of life will be held Feb. 2, 2013 at The Garage Bar & Grill, 6812 Kitsap Way Bremerton, WA 98312 at 4 p.m.
