Edward F. Carr

Born on Nov. 5, 1973 in Chico, lifelong Bishop resident Edward F. Carr, 39, passed away Dec. 12, 2012 in Bishop.

This is written with much sadness and great sorrow in our hearts that we lost Edward at a young age. He will forever be in our hearts and will be missed deeply.

Growing up in the Bishop area and attending High School, Ed was always playing his favorite sport – baseball – and when time allowed, fishing the secret spot. He loved children, animals, baseball, fishing and reading, but most of all, his family. After finishing High School, Ed moved away to chase down life that would take him to other places and make more friends. He returned to Bishop and was working at the Bishop fairgrounds until his death.

Ed will be remembered for his infectious smile, sense of humor, caring nature and wonderful work ethic.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Constance Carol Clay, in 1995.

He is survived by his father, Bill Clay of Bishop: and his four siblings and their spouses:

• Kim and spouse David Burrows and their three children: Jason, Michael and Michelle, great-nephew Mason, great-niece  Amberlynn

• Dean Franckowiak

• Dana Franckowiak and spouse Tabetha and their two children: Tara and Brandon

• Dannel and spouse Scott English and their three children: Makenzie, Madison  and Makayla

The family would like to say thank you to Ed’s friends at the Bishop Fairgrounds for the memorial service and to all that attended. Ed really enjoyed his job at the fairgrounds; a memorial fund has been set up at the Fairgrounds in his name if you would like to make a donation.
