Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012 at the Brune Mortuary in Bishop. A traditional cry dance will be held the night before at 587 See Vee Ln., Bishop at dusk. Interment will be at the Woodman Cemetery in Big Pine.

Born Jan. 30, 1962 in Bishop, Buzzy entered into eternal life on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2012 at his residence in Bishop. He was 50 years of age.

Buzzy was born to his parents Angeline and Harold Bever, Sr. He attended Bishop Union Elementary School, graduated from Bishop Union High School and later attended a carpentry program. From there he started his career in the construction trades as a carpenter, drywaller, painter and roofer.

Buzzy has been a resident of Bishop his entire life. He enjoyed life to the fullest, had a great sense of humor and always had a smile on his face. Buzzy had a caring and generous heart and was always ready to help others. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, being outdoors and being a weekend mechanic. Buzzy’s greatest joys were spending time with his friends and family. He also enjoyed meeting and sharing life stories with everyone he met. He had a gift of filling the room with laughter because of his great sense of humor and being quick witted. Buzzy will be missed greatly by his family and everyone who knew him.

Buzzy is survived by his father, Harold Bever Sr. of Olancha; companion, Julie Williams of Bishop; sisters, Carol Warlie, Sandra Warlie, Bernardine Bever Hooper and Deanna Bever, all of Bishop; uncle, Eugene Martinez of Bishop; sisters, Dolly Parra of Pahrump, Nev., Susie Parrie of Benton, La., Evelyn Weigman of Manteca, Merel Dillard of Olancha and Liz Ogle of Riton; brother, Harold “Chino” Bever of Manteca; and aunts, Helen Beaman of Las Vegas and Evelyn Casey of Sturtevant, Wis. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. 

Buzzy was preceded in death by his mother, Angeline Bever; grandfather, Rollin Williams; brother, Wallace Bever; and grandmothers, Leona Thomas Asp and Lalla Bever Jenson.
