Huey (Mickey) Prevost

1922-2012

 

Huey (Mickey) Prevost went home to be with the Lord on Aug. 23, 2012 at Loma Linda Hospital in Southern California. Born May 22, 1922 to W.D. and Georgia Lee Prevost in Slidell, La., he was the youngest of four boys and one girl, all who preceeded him in death. 

He was married 69 years to Charlotte Joan (Black) Prevost of Corona while in the Army at Camp Haan in Riverside. They lived in Big Pine 22 years after moving from Southern California where he was employed in the Automatic Sprinkler Industry out of Los Angeles for most of his life. 

The Prevosts had two children, Georganne Love, of Nuevo and Dennis Prevost of Placentia; also four grandchildren, all of California, Lannette Mowreader of Hemet, Lonna Love of Bakersfield, Leann Griesinger of San Jacinto and Jeremy Prevost of Placentia; many nieces and nephews, and friends who loved him and will miss him. 

Graveside services were held on Aug. 31, 2012 at Crestlawn Memorial Park, Riverside with Pastor Earling Hofseth of Hemet officiating. 

A Memorial Service will be held at The First Baptist Church in Big Pine at 11 a.m. Sept. 15, 2012. Pastor Tim Toppas will officiate.
