Golden Eagle Volleyball
Lone Pine Lady Eagle Volleyball begins the 2012-13 season Monday, Aug. 20 with coach Mel Joseph’s traditional “Mel Week.”
The morning session runs from 5:30- 6:45 a.m. with the afternoon session from 4-6 p.m.
Players must have their sports physical completed prior to the morning session on Aug. 20. Both the Varsity and Junior Varsity will practice together during the first week.
Indian Taco Sale Fundraiser for the volleyball team will be held Saturday, Aug. 25 from 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Lone Pine VFW, 481 S. Main St.
Pre-order the Indian Tacos, $7 each, with any volleyball player or contact Joseph at (760) 382-0406 to place an order.
Delivery will be available.

Madi’s Putt your Stuff Fore Tourette’s Golf Tournament
Bike Lone Pine will be presenting a golf tourney benefiting the Tourette’s Syndrome Association at Mt. Whitney Golf Course Saturday, Aug. 18.
The entry fee is a $25 donation plus cart and green fees for non-members. Mulligans can be purchased for $5 with a limit of one per player.

Broncos Football Golf Tourney
Bronco fans can spend a day on the golf course and support Bishop High football on Saturday, Aug. 25 at Bishop Country Club.
Registration for the tournament is $40 for club members; $65 for non-members. Carts will be available for an additional $10.
Participants can pre-register four-person teams by calling the club at (760) 873-5828 or register at 7:30 a.m. the day of the event. Tee-off is at 8:30 a.m.

Adult Soccer Sign-ups
Come and get em’. Adult soccer registration is open; the first six teams in each division are in.
Team fees are due by Aug. 24; individual and team registration packets are available at City Hall.

Bishop Tennis Clinics
Instructor Keith Glidewell will be starting up the summer Tennis Clinics tomorrow, Aug. 8. Classes will be held on Wednesdays and Thursdays for three weeks.
Children’s (ages 9-12) classes run from 5:30-6:30 p.m.; adults, 6:30-7:30 p.m. The session is $50 or drop-in for $10 a class.
