Bishop Broncos Football Golf Tourney
Bronco fans can spend a day on the golf course and support Bishop High football on Saturday, Aug. 25 at Bishop Country Club.
The tournament is a four-person scramble with prizes for first, second and third place teams as well as closest-to-the-hole and long drive. Golfers will have Bronco football players as caddies.
Tourney perks include raffle prizes, beverages through the day, a continental breakfast before play and a western BBQ following play.
Registration for the tournament is $40 for club members; $65 for non-members. Carts will be available for an additional $10.
Participants can pre-register four-person teams by calling the club at (760) 873-5828 or register at 7:30 a.m. the day of the event. Tee-off is at 8:30 a.m.

Madi’s Putt your Stuff Fore Tourette’s Golf Tournament
Bike Lone Pine will be presenting a golf tourney benefiting the Tourette Syndrome Association at Mt. Whitney Golf Course Saturday, Aug. 18.
The format is a four-person, 18-hole scramble with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
The entry fee is a $25 donation plus cart and green fees for non-members. Mulligans can be purchased for $5 with a limit of one per player.
Each player will receive a TSA bracelet and a sleeve of golf balls. Prizes will be awarded for long putt, long drive (men and women), closest-to-the-pin and hole-in-one.

Adult Soccer Sign-ups
Come and get em’. Adult soccer registration is open; the first six teams in each division are in.
Team fees are due by Aug. 24; individual and team registration packets are available at City Hall.

Bishop Tennis Clinics
Instructor Keith Glidewell will be starting up the summer Tennis Clinics Aug. 8. Classes will be held on Wednesdays and Thursdays for three weeks.
Children’s (ages 9-12) classes run from 5:30-6:30 p.m.; adults, 6:30-7:30 p.m. The session is $50 or drop-in for $10 a class.
