Katherine Elizabeth (Bartlett) Bolenbaugh, 62, a resident of Bishop for 28 years, was born in Los Angeles on Oct. 4, 1949 and passed away June 13, 2012 peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones. 

Kate was preceded in death by her parents, Mary (Ivers) Bartlett and Bill Bartlett of Pasadena; and brother, John Bartlett of Arcadia.

She graduated from Saint Andrew’s High School in 1968. Kate loved to play with her grandson, Dustin, and gardening. She was an accomplished seamstress and loved to sew projects for her loved ones. In her younger years, she loved to ride horses, specifically hunters and jumpers. She was artistically talented in fashion design and home decorating. She and her husband Glen built their home on Mustang Mesa and she loved  the view out her kitchen window of Mt. Tom and Round Valley.

Survivors include her beloved husband, Glen Bolenbaugh of Bishop; daughter, Jennifer Renaldi of Bishop; son, Albert Renaldi of Alhambra; brother, Pat Bartlett and his wife, Ellen of Hammil Valley; brother, Bob Bartlett of Blythe; sister, Marie Rossi and her husband Duane of Big Pine; grandson, Dustin Chandler of Bishop; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be no funeral services and interment will be private. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
