Pee Wee (Wright) L. Jones
Pee Wee (Wright) L. Jones, 84, of Bishop, passed away on March 13, 2012, at Renown Hospital in Reno.
He was born on May 29, 1927 in Pasadena.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1944 to 1947 and his position of service was in what would now be called cryptologist. After moving to Bishop, he was involved in the construction industry and helped to build many of the buildings in Mammoth Lakes. He worked in the construction arena from Inyo County to Southern California.
Pee Wee had a passion for Native American artifacts and his many well love dogs were able to travel with him on his daily and overnight treks.
He is survived by his son, Stewart Jones; daughter, Lavella Brown; grandchildren from Stewart, Winnifer Simmons, Blake Jones and Charles Jones; grandchildren from Lavella, Christina, Christifer, Louie and Arlene; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Pee Wee Jones was preceded in death by his parents, Blake and Rebecca Jones; brother, Marvin Jones; and nephew, Dennis Jones.
Services are within our hearts. He will sorely missed.
