Paul Leonard Fath

Paul Leonard Fath of Lone Pine went to be with his Lord and savior Jesus Christ on March 3, 2012, after an extended illness. “Lenny” was born Sept. 26, 1960 in Ridgecrest.
Lenny leaves behind his loving wife of 12 years, Tyreen McRoberts Fath and three beautiful sons, Cash, 17, Bryson, 8 and Austyn, 4 and daughter, Mandi Contreras, 28. He also leaves behind his grandfather, Paul and grandmother, Ella Payne of Lone Pine as well as his mother, Arline Fath of Lone Pine; his father, James Fath of Panama City, Fla.; brother, Howard; sisters, Trisha and Phyllis (Turk) Fath; and numerous nieces and nephews.
“Lenny” was preceded in death by his brother, Lance Fath.
In honor of his brother Lance, Lenny cofounded the Lone Pine annual Lance Fath/Gail Abbott softball tournament and also coached his own softball team “the Lancer’s.” Lenny’s best friend Brett Harris was always there with love and support and became the Lancers coach when Lenny became ill.
Lenny will be greatly missed by his extended family, mother-in-law, Elaine McRoberts; father-in-law, Terry McRoberts; brothers-in-law, Terry, Troy and Thatcher McRoberts and their families; sisters-in-law, Tara English, Terra McRoberts, and Torrie McRoberts Eeles.
Lenny’s wife Tyreen would like to extend her gratitude to Dr. Kibler and the staff of Southern Inyo Hospital as well as the Duarte City of Hope for the excellent care he received in his last days.
The Lone Pine Paiute Shoshone tribal counsel deserves a special thank you for their financial support. Gratitude is also extended to her sister, Torrie for sharing her strength and helping with Lenny at home care. Also to Nolyne Wilkinson and Kisten Larson who were always there to keep her strong and surround her family with love. A special thank you to Arline Fath for offering her help in watching and taking care of the boys when needed. Thank you to all of our friends for all the love and support you’ve given to us.
A celebration of life will be held at noon on March 10 at the Lone Pine Paiute Shoshone Reservation Gym.
In lieu of flowers a trust fund has been set up for Lenny’s three sons at the Alta One Bank of Lone Pine under Lenny Fath Relief Fund, account number 186237.
