Patricia ‘Pat’ Mae Pettet

Pat Pettet was born on Sept. 24, 1937 to Theo Beth (Stark) and William Merton Hill. Pat Pettet left the world at age 74 on Feb. 24, 2012. She went to be with the Lord in Pomona and was transported back to Bishop where she lived all her life.
Pat Pettet retired from Kmart. She enjoyed going to church and being a Sunday School teacher. She enjoyed fishing and gardening when her health allowed. She loved helping people in need and opened her door to many. She also loved spending time with family and friends.
Pat Pettet is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rhia and Johnny Lawler of Palm Springs; son and daughter-in-law, Bruce Rowe and Margarita of Clovis; four siblings, Eileen Colburn of Pensacola, Fla., Harriet Ayres of Yerington, Nev and her two brothers, Roger and Bill Hill, both of Bishop; 10 grandchildren, Tammy, Melissa, Johnny, David, Michael, Nicholas and Brittany, all belonging to the Lawlers. Also belonging to the Rowes  are Rachel, Steve and Bruce. She left behind three great-grandchildren. She is survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and several friends.
She was preceded in death by her former husband, Marvin Pettet. She was also preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Hayden Rowe; her parents, and her sister, Ann Harvey.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 17 at Brune Mortuary in Bishop. A potluck reception will follow at the Salvation Army Church on Line Street.
