Lyle Ruppre

Lyle Ruppre passed away at his Big Pine residence on Nov. 28, 2011 two days after his 101st birthday.
Survived by his wife Marie, he will always be remembered for his unassuming love and dedication to his family and friends.
His memorable stories of his long life traveling job to job from Southern California across the entire west to Alaska working on ships, bridges, dams and buildings only he could tell so eloquently. They are fond memories for those who heard them that will last the ages.
In retirement he was a great wood craftsman carving animals, jewelry, boxes, chains and cabinetry of extraordinary quality.
At his request there will be no services.
