William ‘Randy’ Peters

William “Randy” Peters, 51, died Aug. 1, 2011 in Carson City, Nev. He was born in El Monte, on Dec. 10, 1959, to Sharon Diane Peters and William Robert Peters. He is survived by his wife, Sherry Peters of Bishop; sisters, Rene, Raylene, and Jennifer, all of Arizona; his stepfather, Dave Stewart of Sahuarita, Ariz.; and his father. His mother died in 2007 in Sahuarita.
Peters attended Round Valley Elementary School in Bishop and graduated from Apple Valley High School in Apple Valley. He later returned to Bishop, working with his cousin Ralph Reeve at Reeve Pump and Well Drilling off and on for many years.
Being witty and much of a prankster, he lived life to the fullest. He was very talented and always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He was a very active Clamper and loved the ECV. Every day was a new adventure to him. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
There will be a celebration of his life at Izaak Walton Park, 3600 West Line St. in Bishop at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17. Barbecue and drinks will be served. Potluck side dishes will be greatly appreciated.
