Darrell Conrad Quessenberry
Darrell Conrad Quessenberry, age 55, made his home and raised his children in Newberry Springs and Bishop. He lost his battle with lung cancer on his birthday, Aug. 11, 2011.
Darrell had a career with Southern California Edison for 31 years. He loved to hang out, barbecuing with his family, collect antiques, go fishing, metal detecting and four-wheeling.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Debbie Quessenberry; daughters, Colleen Nelson, Michelle Logan and Amanda Quessenberry; sons-in-law, Aaron Nelson, Nathan Logan and Terry Gemmill; father, Carl Quessenberry; brother, John Quessenberry; sister, Carla Quessenberry; and his nieces and nephews.
He dedicated his life not only as a loving husband, father, brother and uncle, but as a friend. He will be missed greatly by those whose lives he touched.
A celebration of life will be held at noon on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011 at their home in Bishop.
In lieu of flowers the family will be accepting donations for lung cancer research at the celebration of life. Donations may also be sent to P.O. Box 1273, Lake Isabella, CA 93240.
