Linda Louise Morse
Linda Louise Morse, age 56, made her home and raised her children in Big Pine. On May 18, 1955, in Ridgecrest, she blessed the world with her arrival and on Aug. 1, 2011, she was freed, to walk unencumbered at God’s side.
Linda chose her career when she entered the Nursing Program at Cerro Coso almost 30 years ago. Not only did she dedicate her life to the care of others, she did even more in caring for her family. When her second child was born she took a break from nursing to raise her family. Once her children were older she returned to the workforce, only this time it was different, she went to work assisting her husband with his landscaping business, it wasn’t too long until she returned to nursing.
Linda had a passion, a passion for life. Everything she set her mind to was done with a pure heart and pure love. The love and beauty that is her spirit will continue to be reflected in the lives of those who stayed behind:
Her husband of 31 years, Edward Morse; daughter, Rachel; son-in-law, Robert Fox; son, Moody John; daughter-in-law, Michelle; daughter, Naomi; son, Elisha; grandchildren, Cheyenne and Malachi; mother-in-law, Ardith Morse; brother, Dennis Bacoch; sister-in-law, Colleen Bacoch; brother, Donald Bacoch; and her nieces and nephews.
She dedicated her life not only as a wife, mother and sister, but as a friend. She will be missed greatly by those whose lives she touched.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bishop Christian Center. Interment will be held at the Big Pine Cemetery on Crocker Street with a reception to follow. Visitation will be from 6-7:30 p.m. Friday at Brune Mortuary in Bishop.
In lieu of flowers, a fund has been set up in Linda’s name at Bishop Christian Center, P.O. Box 1084, Bishop, CA 93515, to assist the family with expenses.
