Juanita Jean Butterbredt Kinney

Juanita Jean Butterbredt Kinney, age 62, resident of Bishop for 34 years, born in Kelso, Calif., on May 18, 1949, passed away on July 14, 2011 at Northern Inyo Hospital in Bishop.
Juanita passed away with her family by her side after a 19 year battle with breast cancer. Juanita was a wonderful caregiver, not only to her family but also those she came in contact with. She helped people her entire life including complete strangers and said she had a special place in her heart for elderly people and little children. Throughout her illness, she never lost faith in God and would praise Jesus everyday. Juanita loved her family and hated to leave them. She will be greatly missed.
 Survivors include husband, Morgan Kinney; daughter, Janet Butterbredt; son, Harold Butterbredt and wife, Brandie Butterbredt; daughter, Teri Red Owl and husband Larry Red Owl; son, Larry Cawelti and wife Shannon Cawelti; son, Jonathan Cawelti and wife Jackie Cawelti; son, Marcus Kinney; son, Jake Kinney; daughter, Marla Kinney; grandchildren, Joseph Rock, Nakona Cawelti, Waylon Butterbredt, Cody Cawelti, Chase Cawelti, Noah Williams, Chance Cawelti, Harold Butterbredt, Jr., Clifford Wilder, Markie Wilder, Loni Romo, Kyle Davis, Joseph Red Owl, Isabella Red Owl, Nakia Hanks, Charles Hanks, Tulie Rose Barlow, Shayla Kinney, and Marcus Kinney, Jr.; brothers, Norman Butterbredt, Harold Pierce, Bruce Butterbredt and Russell Butterbredt; sisters, Margaret Williams, Terecia Hunter, and Marilyn Butterbredt; and great-grandchildren, Sarah Rock, Julissa Rock, Jada Rock, Joseph Rock, Jr., Michaela King, and Emileigh Mason. She is also survived by numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
 Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 20 at the House of Mercy Pentecostal Church located at 393 S. Paha Ln., Bishop. Reverend Shirley Summers will be officiating and interment will be the Sunland Indian Cemetery.
