Broncos named All-CIF

June 24, 2011

Aaron Puls

Aaron Puls, Tanner Kruse and Keith Tatum have been named to All-CIF baseball teams.
Puls, a graduating senior and Bishop Bronco first baseman, went on a hitting spree toward the end of the season and into the playoffs. Puls hit home runs in each of the four playoff games, including a grand slam against Southlands Christian and two against Oxford Academy in the semifinals.
Kruse, a junior, pitched his way through an undefeated High Desert League season with an ERA less than 1.0. Kruse was also effective at the plate.
Puls and Kruse were both named to first team All-CIF.
Catcher Keith Tatum, a junior, made All-CIF second team with a batting average in the stratosphere and near perfection behind the plate.
