Manuel Rivera

Memorial services for Manuel Rivera will be held at noon on Saturday, May 21 at Mt. Whitney Funeral Home, 220 E. Post St., Lone Pine. Interment will be private.
Manuel was born in Mexico on May 31, 1926 and passed away on May 13, 2011 in Lone Pine.
Manuel lived in Inyo County since the late 1960s, worked at Dolomite and lived in Keeler for more than 30 years. He has many friends in Keeler and Lone Pine, and was a loving father and husband.
Manuel is survived by his daughter, Veronica Rivera of Morrison, Colo.; granddaughters, Isabella and Melinda of Morrison; longtime and loyal friend, Richard Mendoza, and many nieces and nephews in Southern California. Manuel was preceded in death by his wife, Rosario Hernandez Rivera, and all of his brothers and sisters.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Manuel’s name to the Skilled Nursing Unit at Southern Inyo Hospital, 501 E. Locust St., Lone Pine, CA.
